i remember first having him as my teacher for 10th grade Biology, he made everyday worth coming to the school. he would make us laugh by dancing and singing to 'Hay Ya!" he would make sure that we would have a dream by the time we would leave his class. wonderful teachers like him only came once in a life time and this one went back to the stars.

Never have I met a man more ardent of a believer in his students. Never have I experienced such poise and genuine happiness from one soul. I may have had my picture on his wall but a piece of him will forever be carried with me. Mr. Dimmick you will never be forgotten.

Mr. Dimmick was a role model and mentor to my son Mati. He had a profound positive impact on Mati's confidence, desire to become a doctor, and love of learning. I had the pleasure to meet and speak with Mr. Dimmick on many occasions and thank him for his decades of contributions to Harlandale students and community. He already missed.

I had Mr.Dimmick in 94 for biology he was a great teacher who was not only funny and caring but was a teacher I will never forget. He made everything fun and interseting. I'm glad that I had the opportunity to meet such an AMAZING person. May god bless his family in their time of need.

May your smile that brought all of us so much joy give god a loving embrace.

I read the guest book and I certainly agree about everything said of Mr. Dimmick. He was my Anatomy teacher in high school and I always remember him having a smile on his face. He was funny, passionate, loving, and sincere. He cared for his students' education and personal life. He was a prime example of how we should all be. I remember him clearly and always smile. The world is short another remarkable man and the skies have acquired another guardian. Mr. Dimmick is survived by thousands of people. He made a difference in teaching. It's unfortunate that not many people understand the credit educators deserve. They have the ability to impact and touch thousands of lives; more than an average person can. Mr. Dimmick took full advantage of his career, and certainly touched my life and that of my little sister's. We talked of his humor, his excellent teaching methods, and the pictures of his students on his wall.

Rob was a good neighbor, especially to my son.  He was a good influence and mentor to my son during a difficult time.  Our thoughts and wishes are with the entire family.

We haven't seen you in many years, but still have wonderful memories of being with you at Upward Bound events. One time we met you while camping in Colorado. Rob was an inspiring teacher and a devoted father and husband. He lit up the room with his personality. I send my condolences to his family and friends.  He was the most amazing teacher I ever had.  He fed my love for anatomy as well as becoming an Aggie myself.  He impacted my life more than he will ever know.  Now his legacy lives on in my Anatomy classroom.  He will be greatly missed but never forgotten.

Mr. Dimmick was my Biology teacher in 1992. He was a wonderful teacher and was always full of life. I learned a lot from him not only lessons for class but for life. You will be missed but never forgotten sir.

Rob and I have been friends for 27 years.  He was brilliant and kind.  A dedicated teacher and family man, always willing to help others.  He will be greatly missed and always be in my heart.

My greatest high school accomplishment was maintaining a 100 average in his anatomy class. The best teacher I ever had spanning every grade, every college year, every medical school year. The best because he cared, he inspired and he fed my love for the sciences. His jolly smile was contagious and is what I will miss the most. I can still hear in his deep voice "Numba 9" from the Beatles. Thanks for everything Mr. Dimmick.

Mr. Dimmick was an extraordinary human being and teacher. He was love by all who had the pleasure, myself included, of having a seat in his classroom. He taught you not only Anatomy and Biology but he taught you to make the most out of this life you were given. No matter the situation or need he was always there to lend a helping hand. Mr. Dimmick had such an amazing personality that changed the atmosphere in his classroom as soon as he walked through the door after each passing period. All the lessons he taught will forever remain instilled in us because he was that teacher that made a difference. Mr. Dimmick I hope to make you proud and I can't tell you how much I appreciate you as my teacher but also as a friend. Thank you. Thank you. 
You wrote a legacy and didn't even realized it.

I still remember walking in his class in 99, the old annex building. Mr. Dimmick was one of the few teachers that took the time to care for those, not only in class, but also their personal lives. He could read through anyone's face, his passion was not only teaching, it was for life and those around him mattered. He did not hesitate to go out of his way to help those that were having issues, be it at school or at home.

Mr. Dimmick was not someone I talked to much but as I walked into the building he always smiled.  The Dimmick family is in my prayers as well as all the students he impacted in such a positive way.  His absence is felt at HHS and has left a void that cannot be filled.

Mr. Dimmick I still remeber sitting in you anatomy classroom back in 2001. I still remember my first day as a teacher at HHS and how you made me feel so welcomed. I will greatly miss you. Thank you for everything!!!
