Rita Gutierrez, born on May 22, 1932 in San Antonio, Texas was called to be with the Lord on March 18, 2017 at the age of 84. She is preceded in death by her parents, Manuel Gutierrez and Guadalupe Larrera; brother, Jose Angel Gutierrez; sister, Carmen M. Rodriguez and nephew, Joe David Gutierrez. She is survived by her sister, Marie Antoinette Garza; nieces, Belinda Arevalo (Gene) and Andrea Guerrero (Thomas); nephews, Eduard Rodriguez (Leticia), Carlos Rodriguez (Ana), Antonio M. Garza and Victor Gutierrez; grandnieces, Amaris Garza and Daniela Guerrero; grandnephews, Christian A. Garza and Benjamin Guerrero, and numerous cousins and relatives. She will be truly missed by family and friends A Memorial Celebration will be held on Saturday, April 1, 2017 at 2:00p.m. at St. Luke’s Catholic Church, 4603 Manitou Dr. San Antonio, Texas. Services will conclude at the church.
