On Sunday April 30 2023, Richard Robledo passed away doing what he loved. Richard was born to Juan Robledo and Maria Louisa Garcia May 11 1973 in San Antonio Texas. When Richard wasn’t busy providing for his family, he was doing other things he loved such as landscaping, playing Pokemon, getting lost in comic books, going to the movies, walking and embracing nature.
Early in life Richard found his calling as an artist as he has a natural talent for creativity and drawing. While in school, he found inspiration from one of his teachers to go above and beyond in everything he did. He knew he needed to make a name for himself in a very competitive industry, so he took the words to heart and started creating his own business.
Richard achieved his dream of being an artist through hard work. Richard had an amazing support system from his family. Whenever things needed to be done his family knew they could count on him to help… although it may have taken a bit longer than expected due to Richard always having various projects, once completed they realized it was worth the wait.
In 2003 Richard married the love of his life Brigida Robledo, and soon began his own family. With the birth of his two beautiful daughters Athena and Aubree Robledo, Richard gained dedication to his work as the need to provide got stronger. Richard had the strength, knowledge, and talent to thrive in a tough industry.
Richard Is preceded in death by his grandparents Domingo and Cristina Garcia, Nicholas and Paula Robledo, aunts and uncles, Benito, Maria, Nicholas Jr, Rachel, and Juan Robledo, Patricio, San Martin, Julian, and Orlando Garcia, his cousins Jacob and Charlotte Garcia, Greg Jr and Lionel Robledo.
He is survived by his wife Brigida Robledo, his daughters Athena and Aubree Robledo, his parents Maria Louisa Robledo and Juan Robledo, his aunts and uncles, Gregorio, Olga Robledo, Josie Gutierrez, Domino Jr, Diana, Mariano, Zeferina, Cristino Garcia, his nieces and nephew, and his many cousins.
There will be a Memorial Service held for Richard on Sunday, May 21, 2023 beginning at 10:00 am at Funeraria Del Angel Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Road, San Antonio, TX 78237.
