It is with great sadness that Richard Pansza, Jr. passed away on May 15th, 2019 at the age of 80 years. His final days were spent surrounded by family. He was born on September 1, 1938 to Richard and Eva Pansza.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Eva Pansza, his son, “Ricky”, and his grandson, Giovanni. He is survived by his soulmate of 56 years wife, Maria; their children, Gina (Connie) Camacho, Garbriel, Melissa (Charles) Harpel, and Anthony Pansza, Julie Hernandez and Richard Hernandez. Our grandfather will also be fondly remembered by his 13 grandchildren, Kristin, Derek, Elijah, Lorenz, Andre, Adrian, Gabriela, Gabe, Michael, Breeana, Ricky, Gabriel, and Lauren. He loved his grandchildren with all his heart. He also leaves behind 7 great grandchildren, numerous cousins, friends and relatives. He is also survived by his brothers, Norbert (Jeanette) and Gilbert; sister, Gloria; lifelong brother/friend, Joe Amaya. He is reunited with his buddy, Raymond Maldonado.
Visitation will be on Monday, May 20th at 6:00 pm at the Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 pm. The Funeral Service will be on Tuesday, May 21st at 10:00 am at San Fernando Cathedral, 115 Main Plaza, San Antonio, TX 78205. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Park; 1701 Austin Hwy; San Antonio, TX 78218.
