Rene S. Rendon

Rene S. Rendon, born on June 13, 1951 in Kingsville, TX was called to be with the Lord on November 4, 2019 at the age of 68. Mr. Rendon completed 22 years of service with Via Transit Company. He also worked for Frost Bank and City Public Service. He was an active volunteer member with The VFW Post 1533 and The VFW Post 76. Among his many interests, he loved music, dancing and playing the congas. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed watching the Dallas Cowboys and Spurs, He is preceded in death by his parents, Martin Sanchez Rendon and Delfina Gonzales Rendon; brothers, Martin Roldan Rendon, Frank Barrera Maria Pamela Baxley. He is survived by his daughter, Brandy Lynn Rendon; grandson Liam Fox Cruz; siblings Viola Rebecca and Linda G. Rendon; also,18 nieces and nephews. The Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., Sunday, November 10, 2019 at Funeraria Del Angel Trevino, 226 Cupples Rd. with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. The Procession will depart from the funeral home on Monday, November 11, 2019 at 9:15 a.m. for a 10:00 a.m. Mass of the Resurrection at Mission San Jose. Interment will follow in San Fernando Cemetery II
