Regina D. Herrera

Regina Duenez Herrera, 36, was called by the lord on December 6th, 2019 with loved ones at her side in San Antonio, TX. Her memorial service will be held on Saturday January 4th, 2020 at Sunset Northwest Funeral Home in San Antonio, TX.

Mrs. Herrera was born on July 24th,1983 in Pearsall, TX to Rudy and Brenda Duenez. She gained her Bachelors of Arts Degree in English from the University of Texas at San Antonio in December 2005 and had a successful career as a Licensed Financial Advisor. She married Carlos L Herrera Jr on December 21st, 2009 and raised their son Carlos L Herrera III in San Antonio, TX. Mrs. Herrera enjoyed participating in her son’s school events and loved giving back to the homeless by delivering food and beverages to those in need. She had a big heart and was always willing to help family and friends in need. In her spare time, she enjoyed reading books and enjoyed keeping up with political news.

Her family paid this tribute to her, ‘Regina was such a smart, sweet hearted individual and had a beautiful smile that would light up any room. She opened her heart to anyone in need and will be sorely missed.'

She is survived by her husband and son, Carlos L Herrera III.

The family will be receiving guests at 10:00am on Saturday, January 4, 2020 at Sunset Northwest Funeral Home, 6321 Bandera Road, San Antonio, Texas, with a Celebration of Life service beginning at12:00pm.
