Raymond Sanchez Vega, Jr. went to be with the Lord on May 15, 2015 at the age of 80. He is survived by his loving wife Beatrice H. Vega; daughters Maria Contreras (Henry), Rebecca Vega, Virginia Lopez; sons Alex Vega (Rosemary), Robert Vega; 10 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren; sisters Longina Duran, Aurora Moreno (Eddie); brother Rudy Vega (Mary Helen); numerous nieces and nephews. A visitation will begin Thursday, May 21, 2015, 5:00 p.m. at Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Rd. with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that same evening. A funeral procession will depart the funeral home Friday, May 22, 2015 at 7:30 a.m. for a 8:00 a.m. Mass to be celebrated at Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church with interment to follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
