Raymond “Doodle” L. Braden, age 78, passed away on May 26, 2015 in San Antonio, TX. He was born on January 24, 1937 in Clarkton, Missouri to Thomas Ray & Elizabeth Betty Braden. He retired after 30 years of service from the U.S. Navy and later from Civil Service. He was a loving brother, uncle, cousin and friend who will be dearly missed.
Mr. Braden was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Ronnie J. Star; and his sister.
He is survived by his brother, Jim Braden & his wife Debbie; sister-in-law, Sharon Lindsay; nephew, Ronnie Starr; and numerous other nephews, nieces, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be 5-9 pm, Monday, June 8, 2015 at Sunset Funeral Home, 1701 Austin Hwy., San Antonio, TX. Funeral Service will be at 12 noon, Tuesday, June 9, 2015 at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery with Full Military Honors.
