Ray U. Sanchez born on November 1, 1931 in San Antonio, Texas, went to be with the Lord on April 21, 2012 at the age of 80. Mr. Sanchez is preceded in death by brother-in-law Luis C. Ibarra and parents Gregoria and Benito Sanchez. He is survived by his wife Maria A. Sanchez; daughter Jo Ann; sister Hortencia S. Ibarra; nieces Elida Ramos, Melissa Ibarra, Rosie Montalvo, Sonia Oria, Maria Teresa Lambardo, Eva Gallegos, Maria Guadalupe Gallegos, Rita Isabel, Alicia R. Delgado; nephews Mario Ibarra, Mario Gallegos, Jamie Gallegos; great nephews Anthony Justin, Jared, Joshua; cousin Francis Martinez.
Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 25, 2012 at Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Rd. with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that same evening. A funeral procession will depart the funeral home, Thursday, April 26, 2012 at 12:30 p.m. for a 1:00 p.m. mass to be celebrated at Little Flower Catholic Church with interment to follow in San Fernando Cemetery #2.
