It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Ron on December 4, 2024 at the age of 82. A devoted father, a tireless provider, and a man of boundless passion, he leaves behind a legacy of love, hard work, and cherished memories.

Ron dedicated his whole life to his family. He worked tirelessly to ensure we were always cared for, never asking for much in return. He was the person we could always count on—steady, supportive, and ever-present when we needed him most.

He will be lovingly remembered by his children, Gina, Cecilia, and Nina and his grandchildren, Isabella, Nicholas, Caroline, Everly, Lincoln, and Ella; along with countless friends who were touched by his generosity and unwavering loyalty.

As we say goodbye, we’ll honor his memory by carrying forward the lessons he taught us: the importance of family, the value of hard work, and the joy of savoring life’s simple pleasures, like a hearty Italian meal surrounded by loved ones.

A celebration of Ron’s life will begin with a viewing on Monday, December 9, 2024, at Funeraria del Angel Roy Akers 515 North Main Avenue San Antonio, TX 78205 at 5:00pm with the rosary at 6:00pm. The funeral service will follow on Tuesday, December 10, 2024, at Our Lady of the Atonement Catholic Church 15415 Red Robin Rd. San Antonio, TX 78255 starting at 12:00pm.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make a donation to the Parkinson’s Foundation and enjoy an good meal with loved ones and raise a glass in his memory, cherishing the moments and the love that he always held dear.
