Randy B. Hoyos, was born in San Antonio, TX to Carlos "Charlie" R. Hoyos Jr. and Ofelia Hoyos on December, 23rd, 1963.
He graduated from Robert E Lee High School in 1981. He was happily married to Dana Vigil Hoyos for 29 wonderful years. If you knew Randy, you knew, he took pride in everything he did. Randy was the hardest working man and was a loyal employee of Vacuum's Unlimited/HomeWerks for 40 years. The numerous compliments and support from customers through out the years, was a true reflection of his integrity and dedication to excellent service.
In addition to his stable career, Randy, was an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoyed visiting the beach as much as possible. He was a lover of music and mastering the grill every weekend for his family.
Overall, Randy was an honorable devoted human being, loving husband, father, son, grandfather and a true-blue friend to many.
Randy B. Hoyos is preceded in death by Carlos R. Hoyos Jr. (father) and Charlie R. Hoyos lll (brother.)
Randy B. Hoyos, is survived by his wife, Dana Vigil Hoyos, his children Steven T. Gagne and Sydney C. Hoyos, his mother Ofelia Bazaldua Hoyos, his grandchildren Destiny Gagne Gashy, Nathaniel Hoyos, Noah Hoyos and Nina Hoyos.
Pallbearers will be Pj Burger, Bill Hargrove, Rory Wilsey, Julian Rodriguez, Edwin Riddle and Joseph Serrato.
A visitation for Randy will be held Monday, July 24, 2023 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Sunset Funeral Home, 1701 Austin Highway, San Antonio, TX 78218. A rosary service will occur Monday, July 24, 2023 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM, 1701 Austin Highway, San Antonio, TX 78218. A funeral service will occur Tuesday, July 25, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at St. Anthony de Padua Catholic Church, 102 Lorenz Road, San Antonio, TX 78209. A committal service will occur Tuesday, July 25, 2023 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at Holy Cross Cemetery, 17501 Nacogdoches Road, San Antonio, TX 78266.
