Ramiro H. Perez, Sr. (aka Honey) entered eternal rest on December 30, 2021, at age 72. Born April 2, 1949, to Jose L. Perez and Julia H. Perez, the oldest of six children, he led by example in becoming a God loving, hardworking man who loved his family beyond means. He opened his heart and his home to those in need and was always willing to give a helping hand. As a family man, he worked long hard hours to provide for his family; he also enjoyed working on and around his home, maintaining a beautifully landscaped lawn until his health no longer allowed him to. Ramiro held multiple jobs throughout his life however, his greatest achievement of which he was most proud was Supervisor for the Church’s Fried Chicken chain in San Antonio and the West coast when the company began to expand to that area. His children, grandchildren, nephews, and nieces were allowed the opportunity of working with him and he taught them the meaning of a strong work ethic. Ramiro loved music, dancing and playing billiards throughout his life and at times competed in tournaments at local levels.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Julia H. Perez, his wife, Loretta G. Perez.
He is survived by children and stepchildren: Ramiro Perez, Jr (Joe Annie), Edward Perez (Lucy), Bertha Perez, Javier Perez (Michelle), April Jasso, Lorraine Jasso, John Jasso, Alexis Jammer (Donel). Twenty-six grandchildren and twenty-two great-grandchildren.
