Peggy Jo Ybarra

Peggy was preceded in death by her parents, husband, three of her brothers, Louis (Sonny), Larry, Donald (Donnie), and her precious granddaughter, Lauryn.

Peggy is survived by her three sons and their spouses, Luis and Melody, Chris and Michelle, and Clarence and Beth; her sisters, Joanne, Tina, Linda, Betty, and Wanda; her grandchildren, Kayla, Hannah, Alyssa, Sofia, CJ, Alexandria, and Kelsey; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Peggy worked in the medical billing industry for much of her life and loved sharing her days with her husband, Alfonso Ybarra, whom she married in February of 2000.

A lover of all animals, Peggy loved raising her beloved pets, some of which include Blaze, Oso, Cha-Cha, Daizee, and Callie. She enjoyed arts and crafts like scrapbooking and coloring and could peruse the aisles of department stores for hours at a time. Above everything, her favorite thing to do was to spend time with her family.

Funeral services will be held on November 16, 2023, with visitation at 10:30am and her celebration of life 11:45 am at Sunset Funeral Home and laying to rest at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery. 1701 Austin Hwy, San Antonio, Texas 78218.
