Pam graduated from John Marshall High School and went on to attend International Bible College. She taught piano at Alamo Music for many years where she touched the hearts and minds of young and old alike.
While raising three children, she went back to school and received a nursing degree from San Antonio College; she quickly found her calling and rose through the ranks. Pam was an esteemed and highly regarded member of the nursing community. As the Director of Nurses for several facilities, she used her gift to serve many people and their families. This was exemplified through mentoring colleagues and sharing her wisdom and experience she gained over the years. Pam served her patients with dignity, respect and compassion. Through nursing, she met special friends, Jimmy Carter, Ronn Franklin, Lupe Macias, Cristy Flores, Verne Lavinier-Kidd, Teri Bonar, Eloy Perales Jr, who remained close to her.
Pam’s smile was infectious. She made everything a celebration, she always wanted everything to be a party. She wanted to have fun and live happy. She always looked forward to her annual trip to the New Orleans Jazz Festival.
Pam was greeted in heaven by her father, Wyman Branch, uncle Glenn Burks, aunt Norma Bunch and dear friend Caryn Hofmann.
She is survived by her children, Joshua Simon, Jennifer Simon and Jacob Simon; her grandchildren Kendal Simon and Anthony Simon; her sister Vicky Wilson (brother in-law Joel); her brothers Butch Branch and Douglas Branch; her mother Wanna Branch; her aunt Linda Burks; friends who she considered family, Tricia Flores, Dione, Brian, Karalie and Sam McDowell; Jennifer and Charlie Hargis; Gigi Franklin; Belinda and Eloy Perales Sr and family.
She leaves her legacy to all she touched and will be truly missed.
