Our beautiful mother and grandmother, Olga Alejandro Kriger, entered eternal rest on September 10, 2020 at the age of 83. She was born to Humberto S. and Sarah Alejandro on December 10, 1936 in San Antonio, TX. She now reunites with her parents, and husband Raymond Kriger.
Olga attended Our Lady of the Lake High School and College graduating with a teaching degree. In addition, she earned a Master’s Degree in Guidance and Counseling from Trinity University and was a licensed diagnostician for the San Antonio school district. She dedicated over 37 years of service to the children and families of her community. She was instrumental in teaching, counseling and guiding thousands of students and their families. Olga obtained numerous awards and recognitions for her service and dedication throughout her professional career. In the same spirit of service, Olga was also active in many charities. Her two favorite charities were the national and state Humane Societies and St. Joseph’s School.
Olga was a loving, generous mother, wife, and grandmother who adored her family and friends. She enjoyed arts and crafts, gardening, watching movies, and she especially enjoyed playing, and winning, at a “round of poker”.
Her children and grandchildren were her world, and she would always make them feel secure like everything would be okay. She was not only a wonderful and loving mother and grandmother; she was a great counselor and listener. She definitely had the capability of making others feel loved and special. She was always a joy to be around, whether it would be for good laughs, a helping hand, a round of poker, or just to sit and talk; a presence that will greatly and truly be missed by all the lives she touched.
She leaves behind to cherish her memories her sons: Gregory Wayne Treviño, Steven Mark Treviño, Roderick Bernard Treviño; grandchildren: Ryan Mathew Treviño, Michael Christopher Treviño; and many others who loved Olga and will miss her dearly.
