Olga Gallegos Gonzalez passed away July 26, 2018 at the age of 90 in San Antonio, Texas. She was born and raised in Laredo, Texas. She was also a resident of San Antonio, Texas upon the death of her husband, Alberto Gonzalez, Jr. Olga worked as the Department Head of Sears Roebuck and Co. as Head Cashier for almost 35 years and spearheaded the opening of the Sears Store at Mall Del Norte in Laredo, Texas. Upon her retirement, she and her husband Alberto owned and operated the Gonzalez Ranch at Las Tiendas, Texas.
Olga is survived by her daughter, Elsa G. Botello and her sons, James and Joseph Botello. Also surviving her are her 4 sisters, 9 grandchildren, and 10, great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews whom she loved very much.
Olga's Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, August 30, 2018 at 2:00 P.M. at Prince of Peace Catholic Church, 7893 Grissom Road, San Antonio, Texas 78251.
A donation in her memory can be made to the Prince of Peace Building Fund in San Antonio, Texas and to Our Lady of Guadalupe Church in Laredo, Texas.
