She is preceded in death by her husband, Olegario De La Garza.

She is survived by her children, George O. De La Garza and wife, Janie; Irma D. Guerra and husband, Fred; Minerva Cadena and husband, Juan; grandchildren, Michael Gonzales, Paul Gonzales, Joseph Cadena, Monica Cadena, Analisa Cadena, Melanie Guerra, Marcus Guerra, Robert Guerra, George De La Garza Jr. and Olivia Rojas; also, 16 great grandchildren.

The Visitation will be held Monday, October 24, 2022 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Funeraria Del Angel Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Road, San Antonio, TX 78237 with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. The Funeral Procession will depart from the funeral home on Tuesday, October 25, 2022 at 9:30 a.m. for a 10:00 a.m. Mass of The Resurrection at at Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church, 1204 Castroville Rd., San Antonio, TX 78237. Interment will follow in San Fernando Cemetery II, 746 Castroville Rd., San Antonio, TX 78237.
