Mary Ann Vega

Mary Ann Vega was called home to be with the Lord, on July 21, 2013 at the age of 61. She is preceded in death by her spouse Emilio S. Vega, parents Rudolfo Ramirez, Julio & Carmen Ramirez, brother Ricardo Ramirez, companion Raul M. Sanchez, comadres Guadalupe Ruiz and Julia Riojas. Mary Ann is survived by her loving daughters Lisa Ann Guzman (David), Veronica Emilia Zuniga (Rick Jr.), Maricela Marie “Marcie” Olvera(Joe), grandchildren Alyssa Michele, Aidan Mathew, Adrian Nathaniel, Adalynn MaryAnn, sisters Gloria Arguello , Olga Orosco, brothers Julio Ramirez, Mario Ramirez and numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends. Mary Ann devoted 33 years of service at the University of the Incarnate Word, where she worked as a housekeeper and supervisor. Incarnate Word was her second home and family. A visitation will begin Thursday, July 25, 2013, 5:00 p.m. at Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Rd. with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that same evening. A funeral procession will depart the funeral home, Friday, July 26, 2013 at 8:00 a.m. for a 8:30 a.m. Mass to be celebrated at St. Leonard Catholic Church with interment to follow in San Fernando Cemetery II.
