I have known the Patillo family all of my life, they always treated me like family and Mrs. Patillo was like a second Mom to me.  I loved and respected her as much as my own Mom and she treated me like one her own children she praised me when I did something right but boy if I ever did anything wrong I knew I would get the chewing out of a lifetime!  

I want to thank Gene, Kim and my best friend Tracy for allowing me to be part of their family.

Mrs. Patillo I will miss you and will forever be in my heart

Many years ago I lived across the street from Mary and her family, Richard and I are very sorry to hear of her passing. Mary was a kind, generous and a good neighbor. She was full of laughter and fun. Richard and I will keep her in our prayers and thoughts. God bless her family.

Mary always treated me as one of her own. She was a great mother and always there for all of us. She will be missed and remembered always. Rest in peace, Mrs. Patillo.  Love you always, Sandy AKA Red

Mom was a devoted wife, mother, nana and friend to many.  My sisters and I never wanted for anything even after our father passed away years ago after which mom quickly picked up the pieces and continued raising us on her own and with help from some of her friends. Mom was always there for us, she never complained about her circumstances, she always supported us in our endeavors and was always there to pick us up when we failed at something.

She never considered any of her jobs outside the home as work but more as times of socializing and meeting new people.  Mom never met a stranger, she could talk to anyone and was always trying to do little things for anyone that she knew and thought might not be as fortunate as her.  

She was also a strong willed independent woman who valued family and friends, but was not afraid to tell you just what she thought and did not take any BULL from anyone, traits she shared with her best friend Kay Gangol.

Mom was a longtime member of the Transatlantic Brides and Parents Association and really enjoyed spending time with her many friends from Britain. 

She was a blessing to anyone whose life she touched and while she left us sooner than we wanted I know she is in a much better place and will be reunited with our father who was the love of her life.

I would like to extend a special thank you to her lifelong friend Kay Gangol for always being there for mom and our family and to my brother in law Frank and the entire Jackel family and their extended family's for always making mom feel welcome and at home.

I would also like to thank Tracy's friend Phil, and her son John Michael for helping her take care of mom the last couple of years which allowed mom to stay in her own home as long as possible. 

She will be dearly missed and remembered always.

Thank you for affording me the privilege of serving as your Mom's doctor at Wilford Hall for the past six years.

She was a wonderful lady--a genuine pleasure to see in our office.  I will always remember her for her smile, her spunky nature, and the wonderful family who were always there for her.

We've been friends since 1973. Now my best friend for so many years, I find that I cannot imagine being without you.  You helped raise my children and grandchildren.  Your family is my family.  Farewell my dear friend.
