Mary Madeline Patillo born on December 2, 1933 in Salford, England went to be with the Lord on November 25, 2014 at the age of 80 after a battle with Alzheimer’s. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend. Mary was a strong willed independent woman who valued family and friends and was a longtime member of the Transatlantic Brides and Parents Association and enjoyed spending time with her many friends from the UK. Mary worked at Country Gold Dance Hall in Southwest Bexar County for more than 20 years where she enjoyed social time with friends and family. She was preceded in death by parents Joseph and Rose Craven, husband John Edward Patillo and brothers Joseph Peter Craven and Vincent Craven. She is survived by her children Joseph (Eugene) Patillo and wife Lorrie, Kim Jackel and husband Frank, Tracy Patillo and Phil Tetreault; grandchildren Stephanie Patillo, John Michael Patillo, Katie Jackel, Kevin Williams and David Belt; great granddaughter Marley Freimarck; nieces Martine and Rachael Craven; nephew Mark Craven; and many beloved friends.
SERVICES
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 3, 2014 from 6pm-9pm at Sunset Northwest Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be on Thursday, December 4, 2014 at 11:00am at the funeral home chapel, with interment to follow at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery.
