Martha B. Ruiz

Martha Laura Buentello-Ruiz went to be with the Lord and her family early in the morning on August 26, 2016 at the age of 84, she leaves behind the memories of being a strong mother, aunt, cousin, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Martha touched the lives of everyone in her family, she was always there for a warm hug, kiss, and of course a cup of coffee with some sweet bread. We will all hold on to the memories of Martha drinking her diet coke and asking her family to bring her “scratchies” if they were running to the store. She is proceeded in death by her husband, Guillermo Ruiz Castillejo, her children, Elizabeth Ruiz, Guillermo Ruiz Jr., Richard Ruiz, her parents, Manuel A. Buentello Ortegon, Maria de Jesus Smith Bazan, and her siblings, Hermes M. Buentello, Jorge C. Buentello. She is survived by her sister, Elia H. Hinojosa-Buentello, several nieces, nephews, cousin, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Martha will be missed by all, but we take comfort knowing she is celebrating her reunion with her loved ones and that she will always watch over us. We loved you then, we love you now, and we will love you forever.
