Martha Bernice Robinson

Martha Bernice Robinson, born July 13, 1930 in McGee, Arkansas, entered eternal life on May 1, 2013 at the age of 82. She was a loving mother, sister, aunt, and friend to so many and had a beautiful smile that everyone will remember. She loved working in her greenhouse, reading, and cooking. She was a devout Catholic and was an active member at St. Thomas More where she made many friends, one of which was Father Anselm Malonda, whom she thought of like a son. Martha is preceded in death by her husband James Robinson, parents Elvia and George Fell, 4 sisters, 2 brothers, and her 3 beloved pets. She is survived by her daughter Sonja Ikerman (Charles), sister Maggie Liebel (Bill), and many nieces and nephews. She will be missed by all who knew her, and will never be forgotten. The family would like to thank the following friends: David Zurovec, Rosalie Wise, Orlando Chapa, Tracie Ruiz from Heart to Heart Hospice, and also Shelly Garcia from Rosedale Place for their kindness and support for Martha.

Visitation will take place at Sunset Funeral Home, 1701 Austin Highway, San Antonio, Texas 78218 on Monday, May 6, 2013 from 5-9 pm with a rosary to be recited at 7pm. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 4411 Moana, San Antonio, Texas 78218 on Tuesday, May 7, 2013 at 11am with burial to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
