Martha Elizabeth Judge passed away peacefully into the arms of our Lord on July 24, 2018. She was born in San Antonio, TX on March 29, 1925 to parents, Elmer (Jiggs) and Mamie Lothringer. She graduated from Brackenridge High School in 1943. In 1947 she married Milton Judge, the love of her life, and had two beautiful children, Buster and Pam. She and Milton were both faithful lifelong members of the Church of Christ. In 1953 they moved to Kingsville, TX and became very active with the Church there where she taught Sunday school. Martha went to work for the Fed. Govt. at the Kingsville Naval Base in 1956 in Payroll Disbursing where she was eventually named Manager. She was very proud of the fact that she ran the Payroll office until she retired in 1986. That same year she and Milton moved back to San Antonio and became very active with Jefferson Church of Christ, and later attended University Oaks. Martha had a way of making friends with everyone she met. Her smile was contagious, and the twinkle in her eyes just made you feel loved. She was especially known for the uplifting phone calls and cards she sent to family and friends during times of joy and sadness. Martha was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Milton B. Judge, son Milton B. (Buster) Judge Jr., daughter, Pamela Sue Judge and three older brothers. She is survived by a grandson, Chris Judge, numerous nieces, nephews and many dear friends. The family wishes to thank the staff of Embrace Hospice for their concern and tender care during Martha's last weeks, most especially Erin Bell that brought a ray of sunshine every time she entered the room.
