Marjorie Nell Brogdon Suttle

Marjorie Nell Suttle of San Antonio, age 94, went to be with her Lord on November 6, 2013, surrounded by her loving family. She was a devoted wife and mother and friend. For the last four years, Marjorie lived with her son and daughter-in-law in Boerne, Texas. She was born July 29, 1919, in San Antonio and also lived in Austin, Texas. with her mother Margaret Wilcox Brogdon. She attended Asbury College in Kentucky, and then worked in San Antonio as a bookkeeper. On August 12, 1939, Marjorie married Dale Parker Suttle. Together they built Merchants Products, Inc., a wholesale distributorship of health and beauty aids in San Antonio. Marjorie kept the books for the company for about fifty years. Along with her husband, she was a faithful member of the First Church of the Nazarene where she taught Sunday School and was President of the Ladies Missionary Society.

She was widowed in 2004 after 65 wonderful years of marriage. Marjorie Nell is survived by daughters Janelle Peine and husband Michael, Linda Suttle, and Lori Binz and husband Kenny; sons, Parker Suttle and wife Patricia, Keith Suttle and wife Betsy; 10 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends at Sunset Funeral Home, 1701 Austin Hwy, on Saturday, November 9, 2013 from 1:00 to 2:00. The funeral service will follow in the Sunset Memorial Chapel with the Reverends Stuart Head and Scott Travis officiating. Internment to follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
