Mario D. Montoya

Mario D. Montoya, born on December 8, 1937 in Saltillo, Coahuila, Mexico was called to be with our Lord on September 11, 2017 at the age of 79. He is survived by his wife, Maria B. Montoya; children, Laura Vallejo (Ramon), Jaime Montoya (Marta), Mario Montoya Jr. (Macy), Mary Maykovich (Michael), Adrian Montoya (Gloria), Moses Montoya, Abraham Montoya (Frances),Faviola Montoya (Johnny) and Silvester A. Montoya (Amy); grandchildren, Maria Eloisa Mendez (Gilbert), Luz Marina Vallejo (Israel), Maria Leticia Vallejo, Ramon Vallejo (Priscilla), Marisela Montoya, Marta Montoya, Jaime Montoya and Angel Montoya, Rosalinda Montoya, and Bradali Montoya, Michael Maykovich III, Xochitl Maykovich and Eric Maykovich, Adrian Montoya II, and Alexis Cruz Montoya, Abraham Montoya Jr., Fabiana Montoya and Alexander Montoya, Licien Montoya, Mya Montoya and Lucia Montoya; also, 13 great grandchildren; sister, Luisa Montoya. The Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., Monday, September 18, 2017 at Trevino Funeral Home, 2525 Palo Alto Rd. with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. The Procession will depart from the funeral home on Tuesday, September 19, 2017 at 9:00 a.m. for a 10:00 a.m. Mass of the Resurrection at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 170 Hackberry St., Leming, TX 78050. Interment will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery in Leming,TX.
