Marie J. Rendon

Marie J. Rendon entered eternal rest in San Antonio, Texas on March 26, 2017 at the age of 86. Born in Moore, Texas to Prudencio G. and Santos (Fuentes) Juarez on November 20, 1930; she now reunites with her parents, 2 siblings whom passed as infants, her brother John Juarez, and husband Pete D. Rendon. She is survived by her children, John H. (Olga) Rendon, Liza Rendon; grandchildren: Jacque (Anthony) Robles, Joshua Rendon, John Michael Rendon; great-grandchildren: Luke Anthony Robles, Abigail Rendon, Zoe Rendon; siblings: Esther Rodriguez, Margaret Juarez, Sarah Turmel, Frank Juarez, Joe Juarez; and numerous other relatives and friends. As a youngster, Marie was dominate on the volleyball court despite her petite height. She was quite the athlete when it came to volleyball and basketball and put many to shame that were above her size. During her older years she enjoyed taking care of her plants, volunteering at church when she was able to, and spending quality time with her family. She had a great sense of humor and was always smiling, laughing, or being sarcastic, all of which will be missed dearly by her family and friends. The family will receive guest at the funeral home on Friday, March 31, 2017 at 5:00 p.m. with a Memorial Service at 7:00 p.m. Cremation will take place at a later date.
