Marian "Boots" Draper

She is preceded in death by her parents; loving husband Frank Draper, Jr; son: Jack Draper; granddaughter: Allison Galindo-Hanselman ; sister: Roxy Logan. She is survived by her children: Karen Anderson, Marty Samsel (Jim), Brenda Johnson (Larry), Barbara Stanford (Larry), Virigina Drake (Doug), Susan Partain (Leldon); daughter-in-law: Darlene Draper, 22 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, other family members and friends.

Boots was a member of Oak Ridge Baptist Church for over 20 years. She was active in the Eastern Star and many other organizations. She was an accomplished pianist and organist. She wrote many musical marches for the Eastern Star. She was also Worthy Matron 3 times and Grand Organist several times through her membership with the Eastern Star. Boots was a loving mother, grandmother and friend. She will be greatly missed.

A visitation will take place on Tuesday, February 4, 2020 at 6pm to 8pm at Sunset Funeral Home. A funeral service will take place on Wednesday, February 5, 2020 at 12:30pm at the funeral home with interment to follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
