Maria Alicia R. Wise

Maria Alicia R. Wise earned her Angel Wings on Friday, March 24, 2017 at the age of 75 years after a long, hard fought battle with cancer. Maria Alicia was born on January 8, 1942 in Cotulla, Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents Everardo Ramirez and Luz C. Ramirez; sister Maria de la Luz Rivera and brother Everardo Ramirez Jr. She is survived by her loving husband of 54 years Lucio; sons, Eric(Rosa Linda), Kenneth and Steven; grandchildren, Amber Lynn Wise and Erick Anthony Wise; brother, Roberto Ramirez(Consuelo); numerous nieces, nephews and friends. She retired in 2012 after 32 years from Northside I.S.D. The immediate family would like to thank the Sisters of the Cordi-Marian for the love and support during her illness; the Doctors and staff of Texas Oncology and the staff at A-Med Home Hospice. Visitation will be at Sunset Northwest Funeral Home, Wednesday, March 29, 2017 from 6:00pm to 9:00pm with a rosary at 7:00pm. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:00am Thursday, March 30, 2017 at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Chapel at Cordi-Marian, 11624 Culebra Rd, 78253 with interment to follow at Resurrection Cemetery.
