She is preceded in death by her parents, Ignacio P. and Maria Lomas Avila; sister, Gloria L. Martinez.

She is survived by her husband, Ramon C. Galvez; her loving pet dog, Mr. T Rex; siblings, Rosa Negrete;

Veronica Baiza and husband, Ralph; nieces and nephews, Rosenda Menchaca, Jennifer Baiza, Lauren Baiza, Gerard Avila, Juan Martinez, Richard Martinez Jr., Ronney Martinez, Vangie Martinez and Valerie Martinez; great-nieces and great-nephews; Joshua Menchaca, Giuliana Menchaca, Ignacio Menchaca, Leilani Menchaca and Dianna Menchaca; also, several great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews.

The Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 10, 2023 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.at Funeraria Del Angel Trevino, 226 Cupples Rd. with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. The Mass of The Resurrection will be celebrated on Monday, September 11, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Shrine, 1321 El Paso St., San Antonio,TX 78207. Interment will follow in San Jose Burial Park.
