Maria G. Tagle, beloved mother and grandmother, entered rest on March 19, 2012 at the age of 89. Maria was a native of San Antonio, born one of 8 children to Jesus and Concepcion Garcia on September 29, 1922. She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings; and her husband, Alfonso B. Tagle. She leaves behind to celebrate her memory; sons, Robert Tagle and wife Terry Kannawin; Richard Tagle and wife Christina; granddaughters, Bree Meirndorf and husband Jamey, Yvette Tagle; grandson, Richard Alfonso Tagle; great-granddaughters, Adriana, Elena, and Aracelie. Maria was a devoted Catholic and will be greatly missed by her family. The family will receive friends at 5:00 p.m., Monday, March 26, 2012 at Funeraria Del Angel Roy Akers with a Rosary being recited at 7:00 p.m. A funeral procession will depart the funeral home at 8:30 a.m. , Tuesday, March 27, 2012 to celebrate a 9:00 a.m. Mass at St. Leo’s Catholic Church.
