Maria G. Mancha

She was born in Monterrey, Mexico on March 15, 1961. Lupe graduated from South San High School and went on to earn an Associates Degree in Arts from San Antonio College.

She married Jose Mancha on September 23, 1980. She worked for many years with Judson ISD and HEB. She also took great pride in crocheting blankets, cooking for her family and friends, and supporting her children in all extracurricular activities.

She is survived by her son Jesse Garcia II, daughter in-law Rosslyn, and grandsons Nicholas and Xavier, daughter Cristina Mancha, granddaughter Sadiya, son Jose Mancha Jr., daughter Elizabeth Williams, son in-law Evan, granddaughter Mia, countless extended family members and friends, and her most cherished life partner and caretaker, her husband, Jose Mancha.

She is preceded in death by her parents Jessie and Maria Natividad Garcia, and her in-laws Elizabeth and Steven Mancha, and her beloved 4-legged children (dogs).

Funeral services will be held at Sunset Memorial Park & Funeral Home, 1701 Austin Hwy, San Antonio, TX 78218. Visitation will be held beginning at 6pm, June 8, 2023 with a Rosary at 7pm. Funeral service will be on June 9, 2023 at 10am.
