Maria L. Ibarra

Maria L. Ibarra, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother and great-great-great-grandmother entered into eternal rest on August 7, 2012 at the age of 105. Maria was born in Coahuila, Mexico to parents Nestora Farias Lozano and Antonio Lozano on July 11, 1907. She will always be remembered for her love and dedication to her family. She will be deeply missed. Maria was preceded in death by her parents, daughter, Ibera Rendon and husbands, Rosendo Gutierrez and Frank Ibarra. She is survived by daughters Elva Vasquez and husband, Dan and Estela Rodriguez, and son Herman Gutierrez. She is also survived by nineteen grandchildren, forty-eight great-grandchildren, twenty-nine great-great-grandchildren and one great-great-great-grandchild. The family will receive friends at Funeraria Del Angel Roy Akers, 515 N. Main, on Sunday, August 12 at 3:00 p.m., with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. A procession will depart the funeral home the following morning, Monday, August 13, 2012 at 9:30 a.m. for a 10:00 a.m. Funeral Mass officiated by Msgr. John Wagner at St. Paul Catholic Church, 350 Sutton Drive (78228). A Committal Service will follow at San Fernando Catholic Cemetery II.
