Maria T. Herrera

She is preceded in death by her parents Pedro and Maria de Jesus Herrera; brothers, Juan J. Herrera, Luz Zamarripa and sister Rosa Maria Herrera.

Maria is survived by her sister, Maria Concepcion Cerda, brother Pete A. Herrera and her numerous nieces and nephews and cousins.

Maria was devoted to her mother and her sister, whom she treated as her own child after the passing of her beloved mother. She worked hard for most of her life. She enjoyed sports and loved watching her nephews in their sporting events. She loved working outside on her yard and taking care of her flowers and pulling weeds growing on her grass. She loved her family and would do anything possible for them. She had a great sense of humor and if she had an issue she was not afraid to let you know. She loved every single one of her family and will be missed dearly.

A Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 15, 2022 at Trevino Funeral Home from 5:00 pm - 9:00 pm with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00pm. On Friday, December 16, 2022 a Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated at 9:30 am at St. Lawrence Catholic Church with interment to follow at San Fernando Cemetery II.
