Maria Elena Hernandez

Maria Elena Hernandez, born on July 14, 1935 in Hearne, TX was called to be with the Lord on May 5, 2020 at the age of 84. She is preceded in death by her parents, Federico and Clemencia Martinez; sons, Reyes Perez Jr. and Rudolfo Perez; grandson, Daniel C. Villarreal; siblings, Preciliano, Juanita, Soilo, Frank and Nancy. She is survived husband; David A. Hernandez, children; Elizabeth Christina Salazar (Joel), Simon Perez (Susie), Carmen Nelson (Keith) and Michelle Calderon; also, 13 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren; siblings, Federico Martinez, Dolores Falcon, Irene Martinez, David Martinez, Ricardo Martinez and Maria Luisa Rodriguez. The Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 13, 2020 at Funeraria Del Angel Trevino, 226 Cupples Rd. with a memorial Service at 7:30 p.m. The Funeral Service will be conducted in the chapel at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 14, 2020 with The Rev. Pat O’Brien officiating. Interment will follow in San Fernando Cemetery II.
