Maria Concepcion Garcia

Maria Concepcion D. Garcia born on February 24, 1935 in Brownsville, Texas entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, January 13, 2021 at the age of 85. She lost the battle to Covid 19 at Metropolitan Methodist Hospital in San Antonio, Texas.

Maria Concepcion D. Garcia aka Conchie was a longtime resident of Brownsville, TX. She was the proud owner of Danache Radio & TV in Brownsville services for about 20 years. After the death of her husband, Leonardo Garcia, Jr. she moved to San Antonio where she lived the rest of her life. She was very friendly and sociable, she loved dancing, mending her garden and traveling with family.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Julio and Antonia Danache; husband, Leonardo Garcia, Jr.; son, Daniel Garcia; grandson, Marc M. Meza and son-in-law, Benito Fuentes.

She is survived by her daughters, Sylvia Jaramio (Orlando) and Irma Fuentes; sons, David Garcia (Carmen) and Richard Garcia; sister, Julie de La Rosa (Cale); 13 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.

A visitation will be held on February 13, 2021 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Trevino Funeral Home, 2525 Palo Alto Rd. San Antonio, Texas 78211 with a prayer service to be held at 7:00 p.m.
