Maria G. Galvan, age 89, passed away on May 15, 2021 in San Antonio, Texas. She was born on November 12, 1931 in San Antonio, Texas. Maria was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who will be dearly missed.
Maria was preceded in death by her parents, Lorenzo and Florencia Munoz; her son, Michael Galvan, III; her brothers, James B. and Jesse B. Munoz; and her sister, Alicia Alejandro. She is survived by her husband of 69 years, Michael Galvan, Jr.; her grandchildren, Michael IV, Yvette, and Alycia; and her great-grandchildren, Michael V, Rhianna, Ryan, Brandon, and Isabella.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, May 25th from 6-8 pm in the Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 pm. The Funeral Service will be on Thursday, June 10th at 10:00 am at St. Thomas More Catholic Church with burial to follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
