Maria L. Diaz entered in to rest on January 18, 2014 at the age of 86. Maria is survived by five son, two daughters, 23 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren and nine great great grandchildren. A visitation will begin at 5:00 pm Wednesday, January 22 at Funeraria Del Angel Roy Akers, with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 pm. A funeral procession will depart the funeral home on Thursday, January 23 at 12:15 pm to St. Bonaventure, 1918 Palo Alto Rd, for a funeral mass at 1:00 pm. Burial will follow at First Memorial Park Cemetery at 20567 State Highway 16, Von Ormy, TX 78073.
