Maria De Los Angeles Oyerbides Gutierrez, beloved wife and mother, entered rest on September 28, 2010 at the age of 70. She was a native of San Antonio, born on May 28, 1940 to Filomeno and Jovita Oyerbides. Maria was a beautiful person inside and out and will be greatly missed by her family and friends. She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Crescencio “Chris” Gutierrez; their two daughters, Sylvia G. and her husband, George J. Escamilla, Rose M. Gutierrez and her husband Rudy O. Rodriguez; other family members and many friends. The family will receive friends from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., Thursday, September 30, 2010 at Funeraria Del Angel Roy Akers. Visitation will also be held from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., Friday, October 1, 2010 at the funeral home with a Rosary being recited at 7:00 p.m. that evening. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, October 2, 1010 at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to Mass.
