Nan Ball, born on January 26, 1924 in Charco, Texas entered into rest on May 9, 2011 at the age of 87. She was a member of Alamo Heights Presbyterian Church and she retired from Alamo Heights High School in 1980. Survivors include her husband of 67 years, Rowland Ball; daughter, Patricia Windom & husband Patrick; son, Johnny Ball; two grandchildren, Amy Etheridge & husband Joe and Lacy Ball; twin great-grandchildren, Piper & Windom Etheridge, sister, Billie Jean Jones & husband Burrell; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation will be 5-8:00 pm on Thursday, May 12, 2011 at Sunset Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 pm on Friday, May 13, 2011 at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
