Marcela R. Hernandez was called home to be with Our Lord on August 21, 2012 at the age of 81. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband Blas C. Hernandez. Marcela is survived by her children; Diana O’Connell(Kevin), Lisa Olivares(Victor), Blas Hernandez Jr.(Linda), Cynthia Hdz-Rivera(Manuel), Ana Leticia Mazuca (Marc), Benjamin Hernandez(Guille), grandchildren; Blas, Letty, Diani, Alex, Andrew, Juliana, Jaclyn, April, Marlena, great grandchildren; Kristy, Reina, Jasmine and Christopher. Marcela retired after many years of service at First Presbyterian Church and enjoyed participating at the Peacock Senior Center. A visitation will be held Sunday, August 26, 2012 at 9:00 a.m. at Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Rd. with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that same evening. Funeral procession will depart the funeral home at 9:30 a.m. for a 10:00 am Mass at San Fernando Cathedral Catholic Church. Interment to follow in San Fernando Cemetery No. 2.
