Manuel Rivera Villanueva

Manuel Rivera Villanueva born on February 19, 1930 in Austin Texas went to be with the Lord on November 13, 2016. He is preceded in death by his parents Florencio and Estela Villanueva; his beloved wife Maria De La Garza Villanueva; his children Jose and Lupita Villanueva; granddaughter Jerrika Rodriguez and sister Maria Villanueva. He is survived by his children; Juanita Rodriguez (Rogelio), Valentina Vasquez, Oralia Lopez (Benito), Manuel Villanueva Jr. (Nancy), Maria D. Villanueva, Estela Byars (Aureliano), Maria T. Byars, Geraldine V. Gonzales (Francisco), Josefa Arce (Javier) & Florencio Villanueva (Veronica); 38 grandchildren; 54 great grandchildren and 16 great great grandchildren. He was a family oriented man loved spending time with his children and grandchildren. He was a loyal Spurs fan, loved music and liked singing. He will truly be missed by family and friends. A visitation will begin on Thursday November 17, 2016 at Trevino funeral home on 226 Cupples Rd. at 5:00 p.m. with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 pm. A funeral procession will depart the funeral home on Friday November 18, 2016 at 9:30 a.m. for a 10:00 a.m. mass at San Martin de Porres Catholic Church. An interment will follow in San Fernando Cemetery # 2.
