Luz Alba Gonzalez, age 87, passed away June 26, 2021 in San Antonio, Texas. She was born on August 24, 1933 in Nogales Nuevo Leon, Mexico to Enrique and Concepcion Garza De Leon. She was preceded in death by her husband Rudolfo DeLeon. Luz is survived by her children, Irasema ( Luis) Carrillo, Alba DeLeon, Araceli (Lupe) DeLeon Gomez, and Rudolfo (Annie) DeLeon Jr; grandchildren, Anthony (Brittany) DeLeon, Daniel (Victoria) DeLeon, Shelby Carrillo; great-grandson, Lennox DeLeon; brother, Ruben DeLeon ; sisters, Graciela Garcia and Rosa Elia DeLeon; numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be at Sunset Northwest Funeral Home, 6321 Bandera Road San Antonio, Texas, 78238 on Thursday, July 1, 2021 from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. with a rosary at 7:00 P.M. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Friday, July 2, 2021 at 10:00 A.M. at St. George Maronite Catholic church, 6070 Babcock Road San Antonio, Texas 78240 with interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
