Louisa Zavala Munoz

Louisa Z. Munoz, 99, went to be with the Lord on January 10, 2015. She was born in San Antonio, Texas to Juan and Espiriona Zavala on August 14, 1915. Louisa is preceded in death by her parents, husband Abraham Aldaco II, second husband Felix Munoz, siblings: Manuela, Santos, Janie, Mary, Frank, Antonio, Marcos, Alfonso, Juan, son Abraham Aldaco III, son Robert Munoz, son-in-law Frederick Finch, great grandson Jacob Hatzenbuehler. Louisa worked at Kelly Air Force Base for over 20 years and later volunteered her service in the Extended Stay Department at the VA Hospital for decades. As a devout Catholic, Louisa was a proud member of the Guadalupanas. She is survived by her daughter Martha Finch, daughter-in-law Margaret Munoz, 14 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren, 27 great-great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-great-grandchildren. While our Matriarch was called home by God, her strength, love and faith will continue on through the six generations that follow. Visitation will be held at Trevino Funeral Home on Thursday, January 15, 2015 from 5:00pm – 9:00pm with a 7:00pm Rosary. Funeral Services will be held at St. James the Apostle Catholic Church on Friday, January 16, 2015 at 10:00am; Interment to follow at San Fernando Cemetery No. 2.
