Lisa was born April 2, 1968 in New Orleans, Louisiana to Curtis Blitch Jr. and his wife Betty Conrad. Lisa had three children; Curt, Katie, and Kimmie Stroup. Lisa loved her children fiercely and was devoted to their well-being and happiness. After living in Kentucky, Missouri, and Georgia, she settled in Texas and married Steven Truett Nichols on May 24, 2003. Lisa not only took college courses while living in San Antonio, but started her own business after her move to Canyon Lake with her husband. She was dedicated to her business and found both professional fulfillment and personal growth. Lisa’s grandchildren, her home, and her dogs brought a tremendous amount of joy to her life. On January 31, 2020 Lisa passed away suddenly while on a business trip to Tampa, Florida.
Lisa is survived by her husband Steven Truett Nichols; her father Curtis Blitch Jr.; her sister Aime Deen and family; her son Rush Curtis Stroup, wife Samantha, and two daughters Elena and Emma; daughter Katie Leanne Stroup, her son Deklan, fiancé David Medrano, and his sons Ryan, Johnathan, and Brandon; daughter Kimberly Betty Ann Stroup, her daughter Iliana, and partner Hailee Steinberg; her husband’s children Thomas Nichols, wife Kristi, and daughters Natalie, Melissa, Kelly, and Rachael; Katherine Stein, husband Clint, and children Steven, Emily, and Ethan; David Nichols and daughter Meredith; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins whom she loved dearly.
Lisa is predeceased by her mother Betty Ann Blitch and her brother Gary Wise.
A private visitation will be held at Sunset Memorial on Sunday, February 16.
