She was born on February 26, 1935 to Walter & Stella Bunting.
Laura is survived by three children; Dianne Anstine Fuller (Ward), Donald Anstine (LeTicia), Melanie Anstine Sklencar (Brad) and Grandson, Leonard Sklencar.
She is preceded in death by her parents Mr. & Mrs. Walter Bunting (Birth Mother Stella Bunting and Step Mother Beatrice Bunting) Laura’s husband, Melvin Anstine along with her brothers Robert Simmons and Richard Boyd.
Laura met her husband (a military man) in Georgia and was soon married.
They moved to San Antonio in 1972 where she was a stay at home mom, raising three children. She enjoyed her time as a Volunteer at all the kid’s school and also loved being a Band Mom, Football Mom and a Cheerleader mom.
If you didn’t find her busy with that she was an avid bowler.
The family will receive family and friends at 9:00am on Friday, February 11, 2022 for visitation with a Graveside Service to follow at 10am located at the Hope Pavilion at Sunset Memorial Park and Funeral Home – 1701 Austin Hwy, San Antonio, Texas 78218
