A strong person, loving mother and wife, a trustworthy friend,
She was born in San Antonio, TX in 1972 to Curtis and Esther Burns. Kimberly attended Sam Houston High School before joining the military. Which led to her longtime career as a nurse and began the path towards the rest of her life. Kimberly was passionate about her role as a Nurse for 30+ years, managed to get her RN three years ago after all the challenging work she put in going back to college.
Everyone who knew Kimberly knew how much she loved working with her hands. There were many years where she made her own Christmas cards, she would paint, many types of arts and crafts, and even sewing. She loved traveling and visiting new places when she could.
Kimberly will always be remembered for her strength even in tough times. The laughter she would make filled us with joy. She was a compassionate person who made everyone around her feel welcome. We will miss Kim every day, but even though she is gone we will live on with her in our hearts and on our minds. We will strive to live life to the fullest together, so she will not need to worry about us from up above.
Kimberly is preceded in death by husband Douglas Geiser; sister, Patricia Stanford; and father, Curtis Burns.
Kimberly is survived by her husband, Raymond Dillard; her kids, William Harmon (Kimberly Harmon), Emily Harmon, Caitlin Geiser; the new kiddos she gained through marriage, Tiffany Johnson (Stephen Johnson), Meghan Drain (George Drain), Andrew Dillard, Zachary Dillard; her grandchildren, Asher Drain, Tory Johnson, Jasper Drain, Cade Harmon, and Ember Drain; her mother, Esther Burns; her sister, Jeanene Burns; her brother, Dean Burns; niece, Jolene Stanford Lemoine, and many beloved friends and family members.
