Kenneth Joe Carter entered eternal rest on October 5, 2016 at the age of 86. He was born to Buford Franklin Carter and Bethelee Brickey in San Angelo, Texas on December 18, 1929; he has reunited with his parents, wife Joann Carter, daughter Barbara Ann Carter, brother Jerry Lee Carter, and sister-in-law, Rosemary (Dick) Dunham. He is survived by his daughters, Mary Louise (Roy) Harrell, Cindy Jo Frazier; grandchildren: Dr. Wade Christian (Shandee) Harrell, Charissa Lynn (Drew) Bergman, Ricky Glen (Mysti) Frazier; great-grandchildren: Trynity Catherine Montez, Griffith Edward Harrell, Samuel Smith Harrell, Tyler Blake Bergman, Brooklynn Kay Bergman, Madalynn Jane Bergman; brother Dean (Norma) Baughman; sisters-in-law: Elizabeth Carter, Christine Short, Carol Joyce Nemitz; and numerous other relatives and friends. Kenneth retired when he was 58 from the city of San Antonio as the first health sanitation supervisor. He was an avid hunter and enjoyed traveling, but his most memorable and precious moments were spent with his loving family. His love and presence will be missed by all who knew him.
