Left behind to cherish Karryn's memory are her children, Blaine A. Prince and his wife, Lyn of Georgetown, Texas, Ryan M. Peters and his wife Shelby of New Braunfels, Texas, Matthew J. Peters of New Braunfels, Texas, Melanie K. Peters of San Antonio, Texas, and Madelyn E. Peters of San Antonio, Texas; her parents, Robert C. and Agnes L. Burns of Austin, Texas; sister and brother-in-law, Sharon White and Brian of Austin, Texas. Karryn is also survived by her grandchildren, Greysen C. Peters of New Braunfels, Texas, Ryker Peters of New Braunfels, Texas, and Freya Lyn-Maureen Prince of Georgetown, Texas.
Karryn meets in Heaven and is preceded in death by her grandparents, Henry J. and Mary Agnes Grothues, and Robert C. and Frances Burns.
Karryn was active in the South Austin Optimist Little League and was a Leader for the Boy Scouts of America. She was in the process of obtaining a degree, but did achieve her Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification. Karryn was proud of the work she did having been in the medical field for several years. She stood out for the way she cared for people in and outside work, and would always offer a helping hand to anyone who needed it. Family was very important to Karryn and the love she shared for her kids was immeasurable.
Karryn will be remembered for being such a caring person and for sharing the way she could share her heart. Her smile and the sparkle in her eyes will never be forgotten.
A visitation for Karryn will be held Monday, April 1, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at Sunset North Funeral Home, 910 North Loop 1604 East, San Antonio, TX 78232, with a celebration of life at 11:30 AM. A private burial will immediately follow the funeral ceremony and Karryn will be laid to rest at Guadalupe Valley Memorial Park.
