Judy was a long-time resident of San Antonio and attended Incarnate Word High School and San Antonio College before marrying Kenneth J. Sacca. She lived in different parts of the world throughout her life including: New York, Utah, Washington, United Arab Emirates and Qatar. Retired from Civil Service, she worked at both Kelly and Randolph Air Force Bases, and also spent many years overseas working as a federal contractor. At the time of her passing, she was employed by Baptist Health System.
Judy will be remembered by family and friends for her incredibly loving nature, sense of humor and generosity. She was also a huge Dallas Cowboys fan that never missed a game, and had love of animals, having ten furry "grandchildren" who will miss her. Although we deeply feel the loss of our mother, we know her journey has just begun and she will be reunited with loved ones who have passed on. She is no longer in pain, and for that we celebrate her life. We are also thankful for the comfort that has been offered to us by everyone whose lives she touched.
The family will receive friends at 5:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 3, 2014 at Funeraria Del Angel Roy Akers with a Rosary being recited at 7:00 p.m. A funeral procession will depart the funeral home at 9:30 a.m., Thursday, December 4, 2014 to celebrate a 10:00 a.m. Mass at St. Cecilia Catholic Church.
