Juan Manuel Bernal Sr. age 58, passed away on April 14, 2021 in San Antonio, Texas. He was born on November 3, 1962 in Fresnillo Zacatecas, Mexico. Juan came from Mexico in 1979, and he started his first job working at Luby’s, where he met the love of his life, Esmeralda. From there started their love story, where they went on to have five children and thirteen grandchildren. He chose to pursue his career in HVAC and went on to open his own business. He was a hard working man who did the best he could to provide for his family. Juan was a caring and loving husband, father, and grandfather. He was always grumpy, but we all knew that was his own way to show us his affection. He enjoyed cooking, thrift shopping, and watching sports while enjoying a cold beer.
In June 2020, his life drastically changed. God chose to continue Juan's path with us for 10 miraculous months. Juan is the strongest man we know as he lived day to day attempting to pull through life for his wife and kids, as he was the rock of our family. He will always be in our hearts as he fought till the end.
On 04/14/2021, he was called to be with the Lord and he will truly be missed.
