Joseph Darnell Johnson

Our beloved son Joseph Darnell Johnson went to be with our Lord January 27, 2014 at the young age of 24 years. He was a loving son, grandson, brother, nephew, cousin, and friend. His passion for life will be greatly missed but celebrated by those he left behind.

Joseph was born October 18,1989 in Colorado Springs, Colorado wereafter he moved here to San Antonio, Texas. He grew up on the northwest side of town where, even at as a young child, he touched many lives. He loved his family, friends, music, sports, and life itself.

Joseph is preceded in death of his biological father Ronald Johnson and grand father Lawrence T. Johnston. He is survived by his mother, Vielka E. Johnson and stepfather Aaron Marks. Also survived is his sister Natasha Alli, grandparents from both sides of his extended family, numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. Too many to list.

A visitation will begin on Sunday, February 2, 2014 at 4:00 p.m. with a Rosary to be recited at 5:00 p.m. that same evening. We will meet at San Juan De Los Lagos Catholic Church on Monday, February 3, 2014 for a 10:00 a.m. Mass. In lieu of flowers donations can be made towards the services at the funeral home.
